Monster Madness at Ridge Elementary, Richmond VA

With experience teaching workshops across elementary, middle, high schools and college, I can visit a classroom, library, or school and deliver immersive and interactive talks on brainstorming, worldbuilding, research, and more. I’ve given public readings and served on panels at colleges, high schools, and conventions. I’ve taught writing at the high school level (5+ years) and at writers workshops and classes including Futurescapes, University of Delaware, University of Richmond, and more. I hold an MFA in poetry, was a communications and interactive media professor at the college and graduate level (5+ years – Loyola College, University of Baltimore) and taught for the Center for Talented Youth at Johns Hopkins.

In-person and skype/hangout visits are both possible. If you are an educator or librarian, please get in touch via my contact page.
